Complex, even-keeled aromatics feature an integrated blend of ripe red and black fruit, subtle wood spice and herbs, highly engaging overall. The palate too, shows sophistication and integration, with supple tannins, nicely melded into the ensemble but still lending framework, balanced acids, and very good length. Well-grown, well-made wine, enjoyable now but surely even better in 1-2 years. Or, hold into the mid-'20s.
