Made from 100 per cent Merlot grapes grown in Oliver, technically-speaking this wine saw two hours of skin contact to lend its onion skin colour before cool fermentation in steel tanks. But in the glass it’s all red fruit and floral tones, with a tart and crisp entry met by some richness and a lingering, almost smoky finish.
