The winemaking here was all about expressing the fruit. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and was not allowed to go through malolactic fermentation. The wine has aromas of apple and pear, which is echoed on the palate. The minerality gives the wine good texture.

A dry light straw coloured Chardonnay. Aromas of Anjou pear and ripe apples. A light-bodied chardonnay with a rounded mouthfeel and medium acidity. Flavours of green apple, lime zest, a hint of butterscotch and Chablis-style minerality on the finish.Food Pairing – Shellfish, Paella, Cordon-Bleu Chicken and soft cheeses.

A clean and fresh, almost summery chardonnay with apricot and peach fruits, but also packed with white blossoms and a touch of honey on the nose. Fresh and light, but also completely fruit dominant on the palate with a vibrant layer of spice underneath all that fruit. A bit of a seriously good, smashable bottle, this is an easy friend to have at the dinner table too.

This is a bright, fresh, straight-up version of chardonnay with florals and minerals filling the front end. The fruit is whole cluster pressed, fermented cool in stainless steel tanks, and there was no malolactic fermentation, leaving a super bright, fresh Chardonnay pitching crisp red and green apples, crunchy pear, and lime, with a dusting of citrus and stone dust that is ready to drink.

This wine is delicious and made in an unoaked style. It is extremely refreshing for Chardonnay which can often be rich. The generous juicy pear fruit, floral notes and citrus lift make it refreshingly balanced. Great acidic thread through the long finish. A crowd pleaser!

Kissing cousin to the Reserve, a year younger and fresher, much less barrel and more steely resolve. Surely a nod to Chablis and with a sense of place tucked firmly in pocket. Crisp and like a bite into a tart, crunchy apple, juices running and serious. Naked of and for the grape with the elements of the Knoll rising out with the finish. Drink 2020-2023.

A near perfect vintage has created, perhaps, the best chardonnay yet from Noble Ridge. Free to express its most minute notes under screwcap it opens clean and crisp with a breathe of lees over ripe apples and citrus undertones. Only eight percent of this wine see oak and even that is a mix of new and one year old oak that respects the natural acidity that again allows the bright, peachy pear fruit to shine through. Fish soup, cheeses, chicken, really this delicious bottle is very complementary to food. One hundred percent Okanagan Falls fruit masquerading as an Okanagan valley chardonnay which is likely why its $19.95 instead of $29.95.
