2015 Library Reserve Meritage

TASTING NOTES
2015 was such a beautiful vintage for us here in the Okanagan Valley. The wines that we are seeing released now are truly special—this Meritage absolutely falls into that category.
This full-bodied Bordeaux style blend presents notes of ripe dark berries, blueberry and blackberry aromas are complimented by subtle hints of violet.
The fruit on the nose is beautifully balanced with deeply complex layers of cassis, stewed dark fruit, anise and savory tobacco on the palate. Good, firm tannins linger on the back palate, speaking to the sophistication and age ability of this wine. It will cellar gracefully for 8-10 years.
