Tasting Notes
This voluptuous Meritage presents pleasing aromas of rich black fruit, tobacco, dark chocolate and a subtle earthiness. Flavours of cassis, licorice and spice are underpinned by well-integrated oak and a long finish. Firm tannins grace this wine with a cellaring potential of 8-10 years.

Merlot - clone 118 (planted in 1986), unknown (planted in 1999), Cabernet Sauvignon - unknown (planted in 1986, one of the oldest blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon in the valley. Trellis system: Geneva Double Curtain (GDC), Vertical shoot Position (VSP)

Fermentation kept between 25 °C and 28 °C - 15 months in French & American barrels: 75% French, 25% American; 40% new oak.
